Our history
Established twenty years ago in Guaramirim, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, Kappen has always focused its activities on developing products and services to insure the quality of car body welding process. In order to meet this goal, Kappen designs, produces and delivers welding electrodes machining equipment.
International experience enabled the company to gather knowledge and technologies for the development of machining tools, technical solutions for industrial automation, and robotic applications.
State of the art technology and high quality services made the company grow rapidly in the national market – achieving leadership – and then in global markets, exporting to Asia, as well as to North and South Americas.
Throughout this expansion period, the company has proved expertise in this business and the ability to cater for a range of realities. Along with it, knowledge about advanced technology and the best forms of application, on top of short delivery times, shaped the basis that led to an increase in our client portfolio.
In 2010, upon an extensive brand and strategy overhaul, Kappen launched new series of products and achieved leadership in important segments of the national industry, always expanding its portfolio of products and services.
